later replaced by iron in the era of the same name.
Mycenaeans, Egyptians, Etruscans, Greeks, Romans all with spiral or ribbon gold bracelets, engraved with geometric shapes with magical meanings, circles decorated with mythological images,
engraved with enamels and set with turquoise scarabs, gold cords or threads with pearls, stones, corals.
Finally, it was Art Deco and Art Nouveau that created the most original bracelets; bracelets depicting vipers with precious stones set.
